Mobile Dentistry for Seniors
Dental Care That Comes to You
Serving cities in the Tri-Valley, including Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon & Danville.
Mobile dentistry brings professional dental care directly to seniors in assisted living, memory care & other senior living communities. Instead of traveling to a traditional dental office, residents can receive appropriate dental care in the comfort of their own living environment.
Aaria Dental Group provides compassionate, convenient dental care designed around seniors’ comfort, mobility, dignity & individual needs.
What Is Mobile Dentistry?
Mobile dentistry is dental care delivered to the patient rather than requiring the patient to travel to a dental office. A dental team brings portable equipment to a senior living community to provide examinations, preventive care & appropriate treatments onsite.
For many older adults, getting to a dental appointment can be challenging. Limited mobility, transportation difficulties, wheelchair transfers & cognitive conditions can make traditional dental visits stressful or difficult to coordinate.
Mobile dentistry helps remove these barriers by bringing care into a familiar environment, making it easier for seniors to maintain their oral health & receive attention when dental concerns arise.
Mobile dentistry can be especially helpful for:
- Seniors with limited mobility or who use wheelchairs.
- Residents of assisted living, memory care & skilled nursing communities.
- Individuals living with dementia or other cognitive challenges.
- Older adults who have difficulty arranging transportation.
- Residents who need ongoing dental or denture care.
- Families & caregivers coordinating dental appointments for a loved one.
How Mobile Dentistry Works
1. Arrange a Visit
The resident, family member, or senior living staff contacts Aaria Dental Group to discuss the resident’s dental needs & coordinate an appointment.
2. The Dentist Comes to the Resident
The dental team brings portable equipment to a suitable location, such as the resident’s room or a designated space within the community. The dentist evaluates the resident & provides appropriate care based on their needs & comfort.
3. Receive a Personalized Care Plan
After the visit, families & authorized care staff can receive information about the examination, completed treatments & recommended next steps. This helps everyone stay informed & coordinate ongoing dental care.
Full Service Dentistry
Aaria Dental offers a full range of services designed to help seniors maintain their oral health, all without the challenges of traveling to a traditional dental office.
Services include, but are not limited to, preventive care such as routine cleanings & gum health assessments, fillings & tooth repair & dentures. There is also on-call emergency dentistry, which includes any dental pain, swelling, broken teeth or suspected infections that require prompt attention.
Every clinician in our team is a dentist, not a hygienist, so they can directly diagnose, treat & prescribe on the spot. Aaria Dental also highlights dementia-trained dentists & individualized care to help accommodate residents’ needs.
Make Dental Care Easier for Your Loved One
Every senior deserves access to compassionate dental care, regardless of mobility challenges or where they live. Aaria Dental brings dental services directly to senior living communities, helping residents receive appropriate care in a familiar environment while supporting families & caregivers along the way.
